Our Recreation and Well-Being Champion Julie has been busy creating a special photo album for Marjorie who recently turned 100 here at St Winifreds Care Home.
Julie wanted to make Marjorie a special keepsake from her celebrations, commenting;
“I just wanted to share how amazing it is that our residents make things all the time and how I thought it would be so lovely to give something back by making something for our resident Marjorie, for her 100th birthday. So I took my time by putting all her photos together, including her making the local Mercury paper, and here is her reaction to her memorable book. Marj became very emotional and overwhelmed, and said this was the most kind and thoughtful gift she has received.”
Such a thoughtful gesture Julie, well done for making Marjorie so happy with such a precious gift.
