On Thursday 5 November our residents at St Winifreds Care Home enjoyed watching a spectacular firework display on the television, which was great fun.
As part of the day’s celebrations, we had a special lunch when we served a choice of delicious Frankfurters in brioche buns with caramelised onions or warming jacket potatoes with slow cooked pulled pork chilli. These went down a treat!
Our ladies have also been hard at work making a special banner for our Recreation and Well-Being Champion Elsie, as she is retiring soon. They all enjoyed hot chocolate with marshmallows and some chocolate and vanilla cupcakes too. Yummy!
