Our residents at St Winifreds Care Home have worked so hard this week to put together their special Remembrance display, which looks absolutely amazing.
They came together to colour and paint, and had a cheeky tipple too! We’re so proud of the beautiful display they have created.
On Sunday our ladies and gents got together to watch the Remembrance service in the morning and in the afternoon we had a special live YouTube performance from ‘Full House Performances‘ who sang a wonderful selection of wartime tunes.
The show was amazing! Our residents sang their hearts out and we even had a special ‘shout out’ to Kay as it was her birthday, and Jack who was a Staff Sargent in the war, which was so special.
Everyone enjoyed socialising over shandies, cakes and nibbles.
It was a day full of emotion; lots of tears fell, but we had massive smiles by the end of the day and we loved hearing our Home filled with the music our residents love.
